i had a whole series of posts about how i wrote “i am garbage” on the fan so i could put it out in the hallway and one of us would remember to throw it away but then i got sad because it made it sound like the fan hated itself so i crossed it out to try and make the fan feel better

i just happen to have a nice camera so it looks like something that’s supposed to be something but it is totally not even supposed to have been reblogged out of that context

China Glaze stole my artwork, and they’re selling products with my artwork horribly, outrageously, shamefully photoshopped, no less. If you see it in a store, please don’t buy it. I’m now trying to contact their people to have some compensation, or to have the product pulled, but I doubt they’ll listen to me. So please just don’t give them your money.

It’s a terrible reflection on the state of dignity that we live in a world where this is becoming increasingly the norm. 

My work was stolen from a costume company called Rubies a few years ago. We eventually got a laywer and made contact with them, but it was too late- some anon had previously sent a threatening email to Rubies’ lawyer, pretending to be our lawyer. Because of this, we were unable to receive any compensation before the point our real lawyer made contact.

Please, if you see anyone’s work being stolen and mass-distributed DO NOT CONTACT THE THIEVING PARTY(s). It is vital that you let the artist use their OWN lawyer and that nobody else steps in to “help out.” Despite having good intentions, you can aid in cheating the artist out of any and all compensation.
